Why Sydney is its own beast.

Sydney has the highest tattoo CPMs of any Australian city we run. It is one of the more competitive tattoo markets in the country. Newtown alone has more tattoo studios per square km than most cities have full-stop. That makes targeting brutal: broad "tattoo enthusiast" audiences burn through your budget fast.

What works in Sydney:

  • Tight geo radii

    Suburb-level radii from your studio rather than city-wide. Sydney clients usually travel less than they say they will.

  • Style-matched targeting

    Generic Sydney tattoo audiences don't convert. Style-specific audiences (Neo Trad, Black & Grey, Fineline) cut CPMs a long way.

  • Q1 budget loading

    Sydney CPMs spike in Nov/Dec retail season. We push spend in Jan–Mar when the auction is cheaper.

  • Inner-west creative

    Sydney audiences fatigue fast. Inner West and CBD especially. We rotate creative every 2 weeks vs the 3-week standard elsewhere.
